QUOTE FROM FRANC RIBERI ON LIONEL MESSI ; "MESSI IS CLASS. THERE IS HIM, AND THEN THERE IS REST. WHAT HE DOES IS EXTRAORDINARY.

Definition of hard work  for achievers is that something which challenges you. And why is challenge important? Why not just do what’s easiest .Most people will do what’s easiest and avoid hard work — and that’s precisely why you should do the opposite. Champions thrive on challenges and  look forward for  enhanced opportunities.  One such young boy Lionel Messi of  Argentina, started soccer at age of five. At the age of 8, he was recruited to join the youth system of Newell's Old Boys. Recognizably smaller than most of the kids in his age group, Messi used to work very hard. Messi moved quickly through the junior system ranks, and by the age of 16, he had made his first appearance for Barcelona. Messi put himself in the record books on May 1, 2005, as the youngest player to ever score a goal for the franchise.  Messi ‘s  speed and relentless attacking style, he drew comparisons to another famous Argentinean footballer: Diego Maradona. Messi steered Barcelona to a wealth of success, captured the Champions League, La Liga, and Spanish Super Cup titles. That same year, after two consecutive runner-up finishes, he took home his first FIFA "World Player of the Year" honor/Ballon d'Or award. Amazingly, the diminutive soccer wizard continued to improve, discovering new ways to score goals  while leading Barcelona to La Liga and Spanish Super Cup championships in 2010 and 2011, as well as the '11 Champions League title. In 2012, he set a record for most goals in a calendar year, and afterward was named FIFA's "Player of the Year" a record fourth time. Messi embarked on an all-out assault on the record books in 2012. He became the first player to  surpass Cesar Rodriguez's club-record 232 goals to become Barcelona's all-time leading scorer. By the end of 2012, Messi had accumulated an astounding 91 goals in club and international play, eclipsing the 85 netted in a single calendar year by Gerd Muller in 1972. Fittingly, he broke one more record when he was named the FIFA Ballon d'Or winner for the fourth time in January 2013. Messi led team Argentina to the finals of the 2014 World Cup. Although his team lost to Germany, he was named best player of the tournament. Also, MESSI has recently scored 500 GOALS for his club, BARCELONA.( AS AT 23-4-17 ) .  Quote by Lionel Messi sums up his philosophy towards life *  You have to fight to reach to your dream. You have to sacrifice and work hard for it.*

FOOTBALL ; THE BEAUTIFUL GAME

There are players, there are gems and then there are GODs.

There are teams ,there are champions and there are teams which make other teams look ordinary.

There is team bonding , there is team spirit and there is camaraderie  for sense of achievements.

There are games , there are team sports and then there is a beautiful game known as football.

Is there any sport that is as natural or as beautiful or as whole some or as complete or as more adored.

Actually football is not a game , it  a cult .

There is a champion player Suarez and then there is a  Neymar and then there is the God himself Messy.

Then there is a team which can rise from  any hopeless situation. Barcelona

There are teams that surprise, there are teams that excite and there are teams that  never disappoint .Barcelona did this miracle again on 8th March. (Barcelona 6 - 1 Paris Saint-Germain).

* AGE IS JUST A NUMBER *

Robustness. Vigor . Strength .Form. Superb Fitness. Achievers have this trait in penalty. They have to face continuous challenges in life. Serena Williams is one such achiever who has risen like a Phoenix from very humble background. Racism, belonging to deprived class in USA, facing insinuation that she is a male…..Serena has encountered it all. Also, when Serena begun playing lawn tennis, her illustrious sister Venus used to hog limelight. However, Serena kept on improving her game & has blossomed as among the best 5  tennis players of all time. Serena  has now won 23 GRAND SLAM titles in LAWN TENNIS ( as on 31-1-17 ).  Now , Serena is all time SECOND  on this list of highest number of grand slam titles. No women player in recent times has dominated tennis like Serena. Her consistency & mental toughness is amazing at the age of  35. Serena’s power game, athleticism and skills have fascinated the tennis commentators as well as fans.  Serena’s attitude and aggressiveness adds to her persona.  No wonder, winning has become a habit for her.  Despite fitness concerns of late, Serena has continuously won big tournaments with ease. Serena Williams sums up her winning theory in the quote *When you lose, you get up, you make it better, You try again *

QUOTE BY ELON MUSK * FAILURE IS AN OPTION HERE . IF THINGS ARE NOT FAILING, YOU ARE NOT INNOVATING ENOUGH *

Belief. Knowledge. Confidence. Conviction.  Achievers have conviction in plenty. They keep on drawing strength & conviction from their internal reservoir. They are able to push risky ideas forward through a combination of deep technical insight & long term vision. Also, they never ever give up. They  thrive on quality products . Elon Musk is one  exceptional  achiever & inventor who was on verge of Bankruptcy in early 2013. Nothing was going right for his company Tesla. Though the vehicle preorders were there, but vehicle sales was not happening. In fact ,talks were going on with Google to sell Tesla. QUOTE ; Style is reflection of your attitude and your personality."

Stance. Temperament. Belief. Approach. Character. Attitude. Achievers have an attitude &  embrace life. Achievers  remember that they  are powerful & work very hard . They embrace the moment, whether it contains an obstacle or an opportunity. They do not fuss over trivial matters and start focusing on what’s really important . They do not go through life expecting things to change. Life becomes hard and unfair when we decide to complain about things rather than trying to change them ourselves. Achievers are  bold and courageous, and take proactive  decisions that benefit growth. Virat Kohli is one such achiever . Virat is an Indian international cricketer who currently ( as on December 16 ) captains the Indian team  in Test cricket  and is its vice-captain in limited-over formats.  Often regarded as one of the best batsmen in the world, Kohli currently averages more than 50 in all three forms of cricket & is the only batsman in the world to hold that distinction. Virat is the only Indian Captain to register five successive test series wins. Also Virat is the fastest to get 25 ODI tons as well as to score fastest 5000 as well as 7500 ODI runs. In 2014, he became the top-ranked T20 batsman in the ICC rankings and holds the position, as of December 2016. Virat  was given the Arjuna Award in recognition of his achievements in international cricket."VIRAT is aptly described in this quote "Your attitude is like price tag, its shows how valuable you are"

TALENT WINS GAMES, BUT TEAMWORK AND INTELLIGENCE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS: MICHAEL JORDAN

Possibility. Appropriate moment. Suitable time. Favorable moment. Chance. Opportunity. Opportunity is to be grabbed with both the hands. We live in an age of unpredictable opportunities. If you have got ambition & skill you will rise to top of chosen profession, regardless of where you started. Cristiano Ronaldo  is one such achiever who scores goals at will & grabs opportunity of goal scoring always. No wonder Ronaldo is considered among the best two football players of the world. He was the first player to win all 4 main PFA & FWA awards in England in 2007. Ronaldo currently plays for top Spanish Club, Real Madrid. He won the Champions League for the second time in three sessions and third time overall after one title with Manchester United in 2008. Also, he is the top scorer of goals all time while playing for his country, Portugal. He has been named the  FIFA Ballon d'Or winner four times ( as at December 16 ) . Also, he has been awarded the European Golden Shoe three times. Ronaldo is the highest paid footballer in the world. No wonder, Ronaldo is regarded as one of the all time best footballers of the world ever. Quote by Cristiano Ronaldo sums it up comprehensively *Talent is’nt every thing. You can have it from the cradle, but it is necessary to learn the trade to be the best.*

QUOTE BY ANDY MURRAY * Give it everything you've got. Leave nothing out there*

Second best. Runner up. Underdog. The fact of being an underdog changes people in ways that we often fail to appreciate. It opens doors and creates opportunities and enlightens and permits things that might otherwise have seemed unthinkable. Andy Murray ( professional  tennis player ) is one such  champion PLAYER who is often called an underdog. But Andy due to sheer talent and tenacity keeps on bouncing back.

Andy Murray, currently ranked number 2  in the world is a three time grand slam winner. Andy came as a sunshine for  British sports lovers  year  becoming the first British male in 77 years to win the highly coveted Wimbledon Championships in London in July 2013. Currently on 42 career titles ( as on 1-11-16 ) , Andy is Great Britain’s most successful tennis player of the Open era, the first Briton to reach 500 ATP match wins and his maiden grand slam title ended Great Britain’s 77-year wait for a male grand slam champion. However, Andy often chokes under pressure & has lost six grand slam finals. Therefore though ANDY has shown a huge talent, but often still ends up a leg behind the winner title & is always the underdog. 2016 ( second half ) has been  undoubtedly a huge turning point for Murray as he has shown greater mental strength and bravery. Under Evan Lendl's watchful eye, Murray has really blossomed now .He has now bridged such a huge gap to stand on the brink of becoming world No 1 for the first time.

Steve Guttenberg  has famously said * If you're an underdog, mentally disabled, physically disabled, if you don't fit in, if you're not as pretty as the others, you can still be a hero.”
