Tenacity. Doggedness. Determination. Do you have any of these traits in you ? . This is the question achievers ask themselves many times. Their firmness keeps them on the winning track in spite of the odds stacked against them many times. The tough gets going when the going gets tough. The achievers make their own destiny and take all adversities in their stride. Stephen Hawking has a motor neuron disease which has worsened over the years. Stephen got this when he was in his early twenties and aspiring to become a top notch scientist. Initially Stephen lost his ability to write , however he developed visual methods including seeing equations in terms of geometry. Despite his failing health , he was fiercely independent and did not seek even an iota of help from any one towards his dream of becoming an iconic scientist. No wonder , STEPHEN is known in entire world for his significant scientific achievements including Hawking radiation, work on framework of general relativity and his work on popular sciences. Hawking has made major contributions in field of general relativity.
There are many stories of the handicapped reaching levels of success, which I have always made it a point to read and appreciate, since it directly reflects
ReplyDelete.the great potential that all mankind has. I have however particularly admired Stephen Hawking because of his knowledge, and the way he has developed theories relating to the Universe, which are very futuristic, and will contribute to the future of space travel and mankind. It is indeed surprising how he has been able to arrive at such realistic conclusions, despite many handicaps.
