Rabindranath Tagore was one such great achiever who was multi talented. Tagore was a Prolific writer. Tagore wrote  novels, stories, thousands of songs , dance-dramas, paintings , sketches , essays and spoke on topics political and personal. Tagore was a  man of action,  delivered lectures and  travelled all around the world. Tagore championed the cause of independence as well.  Tagore was self driven & great observer of  things . Rabindranath Tagore reshaped Bengali literature and music as well as  with Contextual Modernism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. No wonder, TAGORE  became the first non-European to win the prestigious NOBLE PRIZE in  Literature in 1913. He was author of Gitanjali which has profoundly sensitive, fresh and beautiful verse. Tagore started showing his abilities at a very young age. At age of sixteen, he released his first set of poems . Later on Tagore  graduated to  short stories and dramas. Tagore founded VISHVABHARATI university. Quote by Rabindranath Tagore comprehensively sums up his philosophy "I have become my own version of an optimist. If I can't make it through one door, I'll go through another door - or I'll make a door. Something terrific will come no matter how dark the present."
